In 2009, Matthew Deal co-founded the firm with Mark Sikes. Throughout his more than thirty year career, Mr. Deal has appraised and provided counseling solutions concerning virtually every property type. He has been qualified as an expert witness in county, district and federal courts, and he has testified in numerous forums including the state legislature, depositions, jury and bench trials, arbitrations and special commissioners hearings. He led the acquisition counseling and appraisal review team for Houston METRO’s expansion of light rail throughout Greater Houston, and he managed Uptown Houston’s acquisition program for the widening of Post Oak Boulevard and other roadways. Mr. Deal is a Texas state certified real estate appraiser and is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate.
Mark Sikes co-founded the firm in 2009 with Matthew Deal. Over his 25 year career Mr. Sikes has provided valuation and counseling services for almost all property types. He has qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in federal and state courts and municipal and administrative proceedings including depositions, arbitrations, mediations, special commissioners hearings, jury trials and bench trials. He has provided counsel and testified for public improvement projects including roadway widenings, pipelines, electrical transmission lines, detention and drainage facilities, sports stadiums and water canals. Mr. Sikes is a Texas state certified real estate appraiser, Texas licensed real estate broker and Texas licensed property tax consultant.
Jackie joined Deal Sikes in 2011 and currently serves as a Senior Analyst. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Texas Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Jackie is a Houston native and a civic leader in her local community.
Andrew joined Deal Sikes in 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Analyst. He is a Texas Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and TexAndrew Stoneas Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Andrew is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
Louis joined Deal Sikes in May 2009 as its Controller. He has a BBA in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accountancy both from the University of Houston. He is responsible for the accounting and tax functions of Deal Sikes. Louis enjoys fishing, golf and playing with his grandson.
